ALGORITHM FOR THE DETERMINATION OF MAXIMUM FEED DRIVE POWER OF DRILLING RIGS IN OPEN PIT MINING

The review of the modern drilling rigs, power plants and hydrostatic transmissions shows that planetary (gear) drives are increasingly wider used both in Russia and abroad. The key line of improvement of power plants for open pit mine drilling rigs is identified as, namely, efficient combination of planetary transmissions, based on three-link differential gears, with hydrostatic reversible control loops of drives of the drilling rig mechanisms. In this case, under long-term loading, it will be possible to ensure simple and reliable control of velocity and torque, admissible size and weight, as well as low capital and operating costs of the machines. The levels of installed powers for the systems within light-, medium and heavy-weight drilling rigs in the mode of drilling are determined. Using the proposed algorithm, it is possible to enhance specific efficiency of drilling rigs under different geotechnical conditions by means of the power transfer from the prime engine to the output shaft of the bit rotation drive transmission in two flows—mechanical and hydraulic.
