PREDICTION OF NATURE PROTECTION EFFICIENCY OF USING SOFT SHELLED SYSTEMS IN WASTE WATER TREATMENT



High cost and long period of commissioning of permanent sewage works leave open the problem connected with waste water treatment in the period of infrastructure construction, shafting and land development in the area of open pit mines. To this effect, the concept of making waste water treatment facilities using soft-shelled systems of geotubes is set out. A waste water treatment facility made of geotubes removes coarse suspended particles from water by gravity precipitation with outflow of clarified water through pores of the geomembrane at the first stage and by filtering through an adsorption charge in the geomembrane at the second stage. The economic effect of using the geotubes in waste water treatment in the period of construction of permanent sewage works is evaluated.
